We celebrated the memorable life and passing of my dear uncle and godfather, Sam Emmi. He will be greatly missed. The celebration of my niece and goddaughter, Melanie Rees' marriage to Jason Flynn was in June. In July, we attended the family reunion of the Leyman Family of my Uncle Charley in New Jersey. Then in November, we celebrated the birthday's of Rose Sutton Turner and Tom Sutton who reached the age of 88 and 92 years respectively.

Family Memories of 2007

There have been several memorable family events that occurred during the previous year, some were joyous occasions that made us happy while others were sad and full of sorrow. That is the irony of life. One day we are celebrating the marriage of a loving couple or the birth of a beautiful baby. On another day, we are sharing the memories of a loved one who had touched our heart and soul with their smile and tenderness. Whether these momentous occasions lift our hearts or break them, they are an integral part of our life journey.
